Thread Type: Thermal-bonded nylon, original formulation (recommended by beaders for strength and low fray)
Size: O (standard beading thread size PERFECT FOR MICROS BEADING)
Details: These are original, pre-sale Coats Nymo Size O cones — the formulation used by many beaders before the company changed manufacturing after the sale. The earlier thermal-bonded nylon had a firmer finish and resisted fraying and breakage better than the later batches. After the company sale (somewhere between 2010–2015), many in the beading community reported increased fraying and weakened strands; these cones are from my personal stock acquired before that change.
Use and suitability:
